GoSchool balances hi-tech educational delivery with personalised, in-person teaching and tutoring wherein each touch point with a student is used to enhance learning. Learning happens with carefully chosen international faculty and on campus tutors. Here learning happens in all forms, structured and unstructured, bounded and unconfined.
The Learning Ecosystem
We have evolved a most modern learning ecosystem to support modern pedagogy. It is guided by a holistic utilisation of technological, human, and pedagogical drivers. It is education 4.0 which equips the students with cognitive, social, interpersonal and technical skills. The key differentiator of our learning ecosystem is that it facilitates the learning process than facilitating the administration of learning.
We have carefully designed the ‘Learning experience’ through an amalgamation of user experience design, instructional design, and design thinking. The learning experience and the technology architecture is designed in accordance with how learning occurs.
GoSchool uses analytics to devise a highly personalised feedback model, which allows faculty to comment and provide feedback on students' learning progress. Through the use of analytics, we detect and address individual students' needs and offer real-time feedback and support. We also predict students' requirements, based on individuals' past searches and questions, and respond with relevant content.
The academic analytics offer student data detailing their performance data and knowledge flow. It is a top down view of learner knowledge and skills. The data is organised through ePortfolios.
Learning analytics is deployed for understanding and optimising learning. Learning analytics interprets learning data against pedagogical intent. It includes data measuring results, behaviour, learning, and reaction.
We use ePortfolios to support student learning and assessment. An ePortfolio shows student learning progression. Students add work they want to display, in a variety of formats, including audio, images, videos, and text. As students learn, a record of this engagement and learner performance is captured for each competency and is added to the ePortfolio which allows the learner and the parents to see progress over time and provide evidence of their knowledge.
Within the learning ecosystem, we are supporting a revolutionary concept of peer learning. Here, the students and faculty work together to generate content and create an adaptive system. Here learning activities are co-created by the faculty and students together thereby transforming students from passive recipient to active participants. It encourages reflection and deepens student knowledge and understanding.
